Do you suffer from oily skin or hair? Are you feeling the effects of summer? The summer is here, and an array of dermatological problems come with it. Oily Hair and Skin Problems are the most common. You probably have some of the ingredients at home to make these Ayurvedic skin remedies. These remedies are quick and easy to use.
Milk:
Milk has simple healing properties that will solve your skin issues. You can use a cotton ball soaked in milk to wipe your face twice daily, at least once before bed. Add a few drops of lemon concentrate to your cotton ball for an extra cleanse.
Orange:
Orange concentrate contains high levels of vitamin C, which is good for your skin. Apply the orange juice to your face using a cotton ball. Please keep it on your face for ten to 15 minutes, then wash it off.
Sandalwood and Turmeric
You can use a paste of sandalwood and turmeric on both your face and head. Add water or lemon concentrate to the powdered sandalwood and turmeric. Spread this paste over your head and face, and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.
Aloe Vera:
Aloe is a plant that can be grown at home and used to treat almost any skin condition. Aloe is also available in supermarkets. Aloe is an anti-inflammatory. You will be left with a slimy, transparent gel after you have removed the outer green layer. This gel should be mashed with your hands as much as possible in a bowl. Apply this to your hair and face, and leave it for ten minutes. Wash it off. This is the best Ayurvedic facial wash for oily complexions.
Honey:
Honey is an excellent hair treatment. Mix two tablespoons of honey with one egg yolk. Mix in some lukewarm tepid water. This paste can be applied directly to the scalp. After a few hours, wash it off.
Water:
Warm up some water until it is lukewarm. Wipe your face with a cotton swab. This will remove dirt from your pores. Rub an ice cube from your freezer over your skin, especially in the “T” area. This will close up your pores. This can be done once daily for a few months to see slow but satisfying results.
Eggs with Lemon:
A mixture of lemon juice and egg yolk is an excellent remedy for oily hair and sounds like a continental breakfast. Mix two eggs with the lemon juice concentrate. This paste should be applied to your scalp for an hour. After a thorough wash, remove the paste.
Neem:
Neem leaves can be boiled in water and then cooled. This can be applied to your scalp and face. You don’t have to wash it off. If you feel too intense, wipe the product with lukewarm aqueous water. This is a beautiful Ayurvedic tip for oily scalp and skin!
Tea Infusion
Use a used, cold teabag to dab on your face. Pay special attention to the “T” area. Tannic acid reduces acne and cleans pores that can lead to an oily buildup.
Rose Water
Once a day for a few weeks, dab rosewater-soaked cotton on your face. This method not only helps to reduce oil accumulation but also gives the skin a cooling effect.
Multani Mitti/Fullers Earth:
Mix four teaspoons of multani mitt and rose water, and apply to your skin. Leave it for 10 minutes. Remove with water. I hope she has Multani Mitti on her face. It looks like chocolate!! Jokes aside, the chocolate face pack is rich in antioxidants, but you wouldn’t want to use it to control oily skin.
